Many people prior to COVID-19-related quarantine – particularly the less fortunate – had limited access to both physical and mental health services. This limitation is now more evident as they are distanced from their support networks.
Recently, non-COVID-19 related healthcare has relied on telemedicine, which may be here to stay for some clinics. Online resources need to be accessed equitably to ensure care is available for everyone.
It seems many other parts of our society are expected to stay online following quarantine, including students and some employers/employees. In the case of people without stable housing, transportation etc., staying online was unfortunately not an option.
We, hope to help fill these gaps through your donations.
It’s safe to we say do not know how long these changes will last in future, however one thing for sure is everyone deserves to have a means of communication.
We believe that organized, regular, professional help, access to a solid support system, and complete access to the growing number of internet-reliant services is a necessary component to both physical & mental health recovery, financial success, and more.
