CarFest

CarFest is a three-day festival that celebrates the automotive industry by giving away 10 free cars to the public, repairing 25 cars for charity, giving grants to auto tech students, and creating a fun experience with activities the whole family can enjoy. This free, three-day festival is open to the public and will include activities for all ages. The event kicks off Friday night with Friday Night Lights, featuring a cruise-in, live DJ, games, and food trucks! Saturday and Sunday include FREE Vehicles given away every 2 hours to the general public! Drawings for a total of 10 free vehicles to be given away to lucky Carfest attendees who must be present to win. Kids events and activity area, Indoor/outdoor market, and live music and entertainment throughout the event. A CBA sanctioned BBQ Cook-Off Competition awarding the “Best of” categories for brisket, pork spare ribs, and chicken! CarFest New Driver’s Workshop! - teens get to learn some basic car knowledge and use the distracted driving simulators. Every teen who attends this workshop will get a chance to win a free vehicle! During Carfest, some of San Antonio’s top automotive repair facilities volunteer their time to repair 25 vehicles for preselected car repair recipients nominated through regional charitable organizations. Working alongside the professionals, automotive students from local schools will learn job-related skills and gain hands-on experience.
