The objectives of the Organisation are a) To further or benefit the residents of South Manchester and beyond, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to build social capital and create pathways to peace and conflict resolution, other than violent street crime. b) To develop the capacity and skills of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities of South Manchester and beyond in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society c) To increase cultural awareness of other communities through cultural competence of other ethnicities
