Caritas MONA.org

Caritas MONA (Middle East and North Africa) is 1 of the 7 Regional Secretariats of Caritas Internationalis (CI), it is founded in 1979 and assures the coordination between its 15 Member Organizations (MOs) and the network. The vision of Caritas MONA is an extension of that of CI: working to bring about a world where justice, peace, truth, freedom and solidarity reign, where human rights and dignity of every person are respected in all their dimensions (cultural, religious, ethnic, etc.). Caritas MONA also promotes respect for the environment by working towards eco-justice. The member organizations of the MONA region are involved, in a spirit of fraternal cooperation, mainly in the fields of emergencies, migration, education, development , promotion of women, youth capacity building, human trafficking, peace building, interfaith dialogue and prevention of HIV-AIDS.
