Carla’s Calls, a breast cancer support organization, provides confidential and empathetic support to single cancer survivors during late-night hours when they may feel most alone and vulnerable. Founded by Ms. Regina Hall, a three-time cancer survivor, Carla’s Calls aims to offer a lifeline of support through its 24/7 helpline, online community platform, and resource referrals. While our focus is single cancer survivors and their families, Carla's Calls offers services to all cancer survivors. We are based in North Carolina, but services are available to anyone in need, regardless of location.
Objectives
1. Maintain a 24/7 Helpline: Carla’s Calls provides a helpline staffed by
trained volunteers, providing emotional support and companionship.
2. Facilitate a Supportive Online Community: A secure platform created for
survivors to connect, share experiences, and access resources.
3. Offer Resources and Referrals: Carla’s Calls provides guidance and
referrals to professional support services, continually improving based on
user feedback.
4. Raise Awareness: Targeted campaigns that educate about the emotional
toll of cancer and the importance of late-night support for survivors.
