Through Little Free Libraries, millions of books are shared each year, profoundly increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds. There are more than 150,000 registered Little Free Library book exchanges worldwide, found in 50 states, 120 countries, and on all 7 continents.
Our vision is a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. We believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege.
The Little Free Library nonprofit received the World Literacy Award and has been honored by the Library of Congress, the National Book Foundation, Library Journal, the Women's National Book Association, and others.
