Carlos Simon Foundation for Research in Women's Health

The Carlos Simon Foundation is a research center focused on women's reproductive health. Our mission is to understand the uterus and the conditions that affect its reproductive capacity to improve diagnosis and treatment for millions of women worldwide. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 professionals in biomedical research, clinical translation, and education. Our research areas include the endometrial microbiome in human reproduction, maternal embryonic communication, maternal contribution to preeclampsia, regenerative therapies for the endometrium addressing Asherman syndrome and thin endometrium, the molecular and cellular origin of gynecological tumors, ovarian rejuvenation, and computational biology applied to uterine research. We believe in science that goes beyond the laboratory and reaches people. We transform knowledge into innovative clinical solutions and train future generations of researchers through initiatives such as the CSF Summer School or Mentorship Program and collaborations with leading universities and research centers. Based in Valencia, Spain, we foster international partnerships to ensure that women's reproductive health is prioritized in today's and tomorrow's precision medicine.
