CARMA EC Project

CARMA is an innovative Horizon Europe project focused on enhancing the efficiency and safety of first responders (FRs) through cutting-edge technologies. The project aims to co-design a legally, ethically, and operationally acceptable modular platform, develop semi and fully autonomous unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), and enable intuitive, socially acceptable human-robot collaboration for emergency operations. CARMA also emphasizes training end-users and affected communities while rigorously evaluating its results through real-world pilot tests to drive forward advancements in disaster resilience.
