I’ve worked with many corporate teams, and when I scratch the surface of why people actually leave, it’s because they don’t feel confident.
• They’re stagnating in a role they don’t like because they can’t ask for a promotion or to move to another department
• They’re hiding behind a computer because they fear being judged
• They don’t have the confidence they need to speak up and have their ideas heard
Ultimately they are a reluctant participant in the workplace, and this leads to problems like:

I know this because I used to be a reluctant participant.
I was so shy I would sit in my cubicle - not saying boo to a mouse.
And I lost out on so many opportunities as a result.
