History
Carolina Performance is part of Grupo Carolina, the oldest and most diversified textile group in Mexico, founded in 1845 in the city of Salvatierra, Guanajuato.
The facilities of the Carolina Performance Factory began as a mill in 1622 and taking advantage of the hydraulic power of the mill, the facilities were transformed into a textile factory in 1845; this is where our textile history begins.
Our factory is impressive in architectural terms and inside it houses the highest technology available worldwide.

• Carolina Protect: Manufactures protective textiles for various industries and applications, such as fabrics for industrial uniforms, fire resistant fabrics and antistatic fabrics for electrostatic dissipation.
• Carolina Ballistic: Manufactures advanced materials for vehicle armor at various levels, body armor for high caliber bulletproof vests, as well as special tactical fabrics for different applications within the ballistics industry.
• Carolina Industrial: Manufactures industrial textiles for different industries and applications, such as canvases with PVC coatings, as well as laminated materials for all types of covers and tents, for reusable packaging solutions in the automotive industry, tents for textile architecture,
among other coatings and PVC solutions.
