Carp Solutions

A University of Minnesota start-up established in 2015, Carp Solutions has grown to become a company specializing in developing some of the most unique and innovative technologies for invasive fish management, focusing on the common carp. The tools we develop target specific weaknesses in carp’s life history and behavior. For example, our baited traps target common carp's unique diet, cognitive abilities, and social behaviors. The systems of low-Voltage barriers and conveyers target carp spawning migrations. Our technologies have a low footprint and minimal impact on native species. Our technologies are automated to a large degree, which reduces cost and labor.
