CarpeCarbon is an Italian innovative startup working on a new Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology able to remove large amounts of CO2 using only renewable energy.
CarpeCarbon's solution proves that it is possible to remove CO2 from the air avoiding the high energy needs of traditional DAC technologies, cutting down both capture costs and environmental impacts. Removing CO2 from the atmosphere is not an alternative to cutting emissions or an excuse for delaying the clean energy transition, but is required in order to meet net zero targets in every future climate scenario.
