Dès son origine, Carte Noire fait le pari de la qualité.
La marque voit le jour en 1978. Dans un marché dominé par le Robusta, Carte Noire crée un segment premium avec un pur Arabica. Elle révolutionne aussi l’univers marketing du café, affichant des codes novateurs, avec ses couleurs noir, blanc et or dans un emballage souple.
Depuis, Carte Noire n’a eu de cesse de se réinventer pour proposer un café d’exception.
Carte Noire franchit une nouvelle étape en 2016 en devenant une filiale française du Groupe italien Luigi Lavazza. La Société réalise un chiffre d’affaires de près de 400 M€ sur les marchés du Café moulu, des Grains, des Dosettes souples et des Capsules, en grande distribution.
