Our company was founded in 1990, by president and owner Andrew Carter. Andrew has more than 40 years of experience in HVAC contracting. Starting as an installation mechanic, Andrew soon progressed into the role of field supervisor, and later started his own company, now known as Carter Mechanical, Inc. At Carter Mechanical, we bring expertise and decades of experience to our customers fueling our high growth, and most important, high customer retention. As a family-owned and operated business we strive every-day to exceed our customers’ expectations and establish professional relationships throughout the local community. We bring honesty, craftsmanship, project management, service, and dependability to every one of our customers. Today we have a full staff, which consists of more than 50 full-time employees, including field mechanics, sheet metal and pipe fabrication specialists, and administrative staff. We also have access to a range of preferred subcontractors which gives us the ability to take on virtually any commercial HVAC, Plumbing or Building Automation project. And sometimes we are called in as the Design / Build expert to serve as the subcontractor. Carter Mechanical provides solutions to HVAC and plumbing challenges, which range in size from small commercial operations to large universities, manufacturing and warehouse facilities and grocery stores. Our commercial HVAC and Plumbing projects have been deployed at commercial facilities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. We are known to be proactive industry leaders, enabling us to take the lead in managing projects that require LEED and Green Advantage certification.
