Cartesian Co. presents the Argentum, the world’s first consumer-level 3D Circuit Board Printer. After an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign – reaching the funding goal on the first day and exceeding the end target by more than 400% – the Cartesian Co team has already shipped hundreds of printers. The Argentum works on similar principles to an inkjet printer – though instead of ink, it prints a silver nanostructure onto a growing range of substrates. The product is a circuit board, allowing our current customers – hobbyists and members of the maker movement – to create complex electronics without the hassle and expense of contracting an industrial circuit board printer. Currently selling pre-orders through the website (cartesianco.com), Cartesian Co predicts expansion into the education, research and small-medium enterprise markets, filling a need for rapid electronics prototyping and fuelling the hardware startup revolution.
