We are a contemporary, home-grown, street inspired hospitality business. We aspire to be innovative in as many ways possible & to bring something new to this part of the world… a place we now call home – Dubai. The journey started with Kevin Vaz, whose love for everything “street” and fun, came up with the idea of launching one of the first food trucks to hit the streets of Dubai, GObai (a Goan fusion street concept). Knowing that he couldn’t do it himself, he brought up the topic in a discussion with Cara Davies who loved the idea and immediately thought of joining forces and launched Carvin Concepts! Carvin Concepts was born in early 2015 (“Carvin” Concepts – Car from Cara and vin from Kevin) with a long term ambition of bringing different street influences from around the world to Dubai, a melting pot of people from all corners of the world. There is a huge amount of innovation & individuality in all that we do, and that is what we love to offer to our customers! Kevin spends most of his time in his day job, running the HR department for an international group of companies and is behind the strategic direction of Carvin Concepts. Cara on the other hand is the real “boss”.. managing not only the day to day running of the business but actually sense checking Kevin’s “dreams” and converting it to reality!
