Casa 1921 was founded in 1996 by a group of tequila enthusiasts during one of Mexico's worst financial crises. There were two options, drink tequila or export tequila… We decided to do both.
1921 marks the end of the revolutionary movement, which is why we carry it as our brand. As a symbol of the cultural legacy that this struggle left in our country and the foundations of the Mexico we know today.
The legacy of the armed movement is not limited to the political or military, as it also left behind music, phrases, characters, food and countless traditions that prevail more than 100 years after its beginning. From that moment on, tequila became a supportive companion in good times and bad, identifying itself as a synonym of Mexico to the world.
Maria Bonita, The New Brand. Maria Bonita is an affectionate and complimentary expression used to highlight the beauty and charm of women in Mexican culture. We carry this name as a brand, as a tribute to our traditions and the legacy of our ancestors.
