About Casa Vicens, Gaudí's first house in Barcelona

Casa Vicens is the first house designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí. It was built between 1883 and 1885 as the summer home of the Vicens family. Today it is a house-museum open to the public that was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2005. Casa Vicens is owned by MoraBanc, a family-run Andorran bank. MoraBanc purchased the house in 2014. After three years of renovation and restoration, Casa Vicens was opened to the public in November 2017.
