CASCR - Center for Applied Social Cognition Research

The Center for Applied Social Cognition Research (CASCR) in Lebanon is an independent research and media organization, founded out of a need for access to more empirical and up-to-date Psychology research findings, tools, and educational resources in the Arab world. We are a small team of young professionals, students, and volunteer interns that collaborate with an advisory board of academics, researchers, and experts in their repsective fields. Our principal aims are to make psychological (and other relevant social science) research accessible and contextually-relevant, while simultaneously promoting a research culture for empirical Psychology and providing a training space for Psychology graduates and students to grow.
