Utilizing advancing reverse osmosis technologies, the highly experienced Case team of marine engineers factored in the shipboard problems of pressure spikes, back pressures, vibration, and pounding seas when designing the innovative Case Marine reverse osmosis systems used throughout the world today. Understanding the harsh environment of an engine room, as well as surpassing the stringent requirements of worldwide classification societies was the fundamental factor behind eliminating plastic piping in favor of robust and reliable 90/10 CuNi and 2205 Duplex stainless steel. This 25 year program of research and development has eliminated the leaks, breakdowns, and problems encountered by the competition and made Case RO the preferred desalination system of the maritime industry.
