What is CASES? CASES stands for The Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences. CASES is the professional body for sport and exercise sciences in the UK. CASES is a Royal Charter Company Registered in the UK. The Company Number is RC000942. Sport and Exercise Science is the application of scientific principles to the promotion, maintenance and enhancement of sport and exercise related behaviours. In May 2024, BASES (Former) was granted the Charter of Incorporation by His Majesty King Charles III. On 1 April 2025, BASES was incorporated as The Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES). Our Mission: Promoting excellence in sport and exercise sciences. Our Vision: The professional body leading excellence in sport and exercise sciences through evidence-based practice.
