Established in 2000, caseworks is a family owned and operated business providing forensic architecture and design services on building envelopes throughout New York City and beyond. For over 20 years we have been creating custom solutions based on our design sensibilities and technical expertise and our thorough knowledge of construction and historic materials. Our current active exterior projects range in construction cost from 100K to 12 million on over 45 buildings.
Carla and John Paul Murray are licensed architects, registered to practice in New York and New Jersey. John is also part of an elite group of professionals certified as a QEWI – Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector by the New York City Department of Buildings. Our staff is both diverse and experienced with backgrounds in construction, building operations, professional service, and academia. From boilers to bricks, with a focus on sustainability and adaptive reuse, caseworks brings the city’s past safely into the future.
