Casey Tech School is a shared learning facility that delivers high-tech, leading edge courses to students from 21 secondary schools in the Casey region.
Hosted at Chisholm Institute's Berwick campus, Casey Tech School aims to deliver innovative and real-world education programs in partnership with local industries, helping to prepare students for the jobs of the future. Our programs emphasise the vital Enterprise and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) skills needed for the 21st century.
Our education focus is aligned to industries that are predicted to experience strong economic and employment growth in the local area: Biomedical Technology, Healthcare, and Advanced Manufacturing.
The core offering of Casey Tech School is our three-day Year 9-10 Enterprise Program. Adopting a contemporary Project Based Learning approach, students use STEAM skills, high-tech equipment, and advice from industry mentors to prototype solutions for local industry-based problems.
Exciting, single-day industry-aligned skill development programs for Year 7-8 are also on offer.
VCE, VET and VCAL students have opportunities to visit for extension programs and masterclasses in their field of specialty.
