Caspian Offshore and Marine Construction LLP (COMC), formerly Keppel Kazakhstan LLP (KKL), is a state of the art Fabrication Facility which was inaugurated in Aktau by President Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev in 2003 in the Special Economic Zone of the Mangystau region in response to his initiative to encourage investment and growth in specialized engineering, fabrication and construction capabilities in this region and to support the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole.
Throughout our fifteen years of operation, we have made a dedicated commitment to the training and development of local Kazakhstan people across all spectrums of our business and by our devotion to the philosophy of optimization of local Kazakhstan content we have created a significant, skilled and professional local workforce at our facility.
Our core skills and expertise encompass design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of onshore and offshore modules, plants and structures, mobile and stationary drilling rigs and production units and specialized vessels, ships, barges and floating units together with their repair, refurbishment, conversion and maintenance.
Additionally, we are able to provide marine support services including logistic supply base with office and transit accommodation and berthing loading/unloading and storage facilities.
