CASRI is a 2,5 years project that aims to align Environmental and Sustainability Research and Innovation (ES R&I) programmes and to facilitate and converge the application of ES R&I results at both the multilateral and European level in a way that it complements existing programmes by the EU and member states.
CASRI’s mission is to faciliate innovative ES R&I, strengthen the research collaboration of environment protection agencies and improve the supply and effectiveness of science/knowledge take-up by those who really need it in order to facilitate the sustainability transition.
CASRI is a Coordination & Support Action coordinated by the German Environment Agency (UBA) with 16 partners and further associated partners. The project is funded under Horizon Europe by the European Union.
