Cassandra has developed an environmentally friendly and commercially viable technology to address hydrocarbon-rich waste, such as plastics and tires. Cassandra's operations are based on a patented reactor technology that utilises catalytic cracking methods to break the hydrocarbon chains and thereby create light fractions of oil from waste. The technology enables recycling of various waste products including plastics, tires, oil sludge and electronic scrap. It is a better alternative to incineration. This solution is environmentally friendly with no harmful emissions and 10% of the produced energy is used to power the plant itself. A CASO-processing plant can be easily transported to the recycling location and assembled in a few days.
