REFRACTORY TEAR OUT
We can safely and efficiently perform refractory tear-out and cleaning on units of all sizes, including: ladles, flash furnaces, blast furnaces, roasters, tundishes, launders, rotary kilns, clinker coolers, aluminum furnaces, anode furnaces, incinerators, converters, and electric arc furnaces.
INSTALLATION
We have the crews and the necessary equipment to complete any installations including: bricking, guniting, vibration casting, shotcreting, pump casting, and ramming.
REFRACTORY CASTINGS
We have the experience and facilities necessary to take the pre-cast shapes from the concept stage to: drawings, curing, engineering, dry-out, onsite form fabrication, installation, and casting.
We cast many different shapes and sizes, including: ladles, anode hoods and covers, runners, burner blocks, tundishes, mould bottoms, and furnace roof blocks.
At Castec, we believe that because we tear refractory out, we have great advantages and insight when it comes time for reinstallation. One contractor performing both tasks ensures continuity throughout the project. We evaluate our customers' refractory program as a whole, understanding the the removal of damaged refractory aids the planning of future linings.
