CastelBrando

CastelBrando was created as a Roman fort in 46 AD by the will of the Emperor Claudius Augustus. This magnificent construction was for centuries fought over by the most famous leaders of the European history because of its strategic location. Following a careful restoration, CastelBrando is today one of the best examples of the redevelopment of Italian historic and artistic legacies. It is located just above the medieval village of Cison Valmarino, in the heart of the UNESCO heritage Prosecco Hills, between Venice and the Dolomites. The castle, one of the largest and oldest in Europe, is surrounded by a beautiful park with a Hotel, a luxury Spa, two restaurants and a wine and cocktail bar.
