Catalyst Young Professionals of Utica, NY

The Catalyst Group was formed in 2013 based on a need to keep young people invested in the Utica area, excited about living and working here and to meet other like-minded young professionals. The mission of Catalyst is to provide the spark to engage young professionals with the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce. We offer our members a place to grow personally and professionally through participation in Chamber events, services and benefits. Catalyst is led by a Steering Committee with task forces operating within its structure: Events, Membership and Community Action. There are multiple opportunities to get involved each month and the commitment level is entirely up to you. Some examples: • Monthly task force planning and idea-sharing meetings • Happy hour networking • Group outings • Outdoor activities • Social functions • Educational and professional development seminars • Volunteering for community organizations All young professionals who are employed by Chamber Member Businesses aged 21-40 are members of Catalyst! You don't need to sign up separately or pay an additional membership fee. You can find a full list of these businesses at www.greateruticachamber.org We also welcome participation at our events from outside individuals.
