Catechism 2021

Arising from necessity and the amateur filmmaker’s desire to reflect their view of the world back on itself, even in the ugliest of times, we have outlined a set of rules - a dogma, if you will - to define and inspire a new movement in filmmaking. Catechism 2021 is for the artists and creative minds yearning for an outlet, to contribute, and to once again feel part of a collective. These guidelines speak to the generation of the smartphone and social media, an inward facing commentary on our culture of self-obsession, celebrity and mass consumption.
