The Caterham lineup of vehicles, which is distributed by Superformance, is comprised of the Seven 160, Seven 280, Seven 360, Seven 480 & the Seven 620R. They are imported into the United States under the Specially Constructed Vehicle Laws, which allow for continuations of classic vehicles to be exempt from the federal vehicle regulations. To comply with those law, the vehicle is sold as a rolling chassis or "Turn-key minus", which is a completed chassis that has the electrical wiring and plumbing completed along with even the differential installed. The buyer will then only need to install the engine and transmission package to have a completed and running vehicle. This allows them to enjoy a vehicle that is truly a classic in the original manor that it was meant to be driven!
