Cathartic Consulting is a boutique psychology practice, which provides specialist consulting in Clinical and Forensic Psychology.
Cathartic Consulting consists of two Principal Practitioners and a number of psychologists. All staff are Psychologists registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and both Principal Practitioners have been practicing for more than fifteen years. Most of the Psychologists have completed a Doctorate of Psychology or Masters of Psychology Degree.
The team have a depth and a breadth of experience working across the lifespan with a wide variety of clinical presenting issues. This includes providing individual and group based interventions, educational and development assessments (e.g., ADHD and Autism), developing and facilitating training, program development, organisational consulting and employee wellbeing services and executive coaching.
A number of the team members are Forensic Psychologists who have have experience providing offence-specific (violence, sexual and alcohol and other drugs), and offence-related (e.g., trauma) interventions. These psychologists also have experience completing risk assessments, writing assessment, treatment and psycho-legal (court) reports (both civil and criminal).
