𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡. 🌍📈 We believe that the challenges are transversal among sectors in the economy and that we can create a virtuous circle of knowledge transfer, as well as a collaborative corporate mindset to exploit growth and synergies. In March 2021, we launched the Católica International Business Platform - 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬. The Platform unites academic and corporate leaders committed to a project with national relevance, centred on the growth and internationalization of Portuguese companies. These are leaders who believe in the virtuous effect of collaboration and who are willing to try new models for the internationalization of their companies. In this way, the University also benefits, by the project’s contribution to its own mission of creating knowledge and transforming society. The 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 of this project is composed of companies with a solid international experience in economic sectors with a high potential for international growth. The companies that integrate the founding core are the basis of our first case studies and pilot projects. We are producing knowledge out of Portuguese experience with a view to setting an international benchmark.
