Cattails Environmental performs environmental consulting work nationwide and primarily works with environmental regulations associated with the Clean Water Act, assisting clients with Section 404 (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) and Section 401 (water quality certification) permits. Other services include wetland delineations and determinations, wetland and stream mitigation, stream bioassessments and monitoring, natural resource inventories, watershed inventories, NEPA report writing and environmental regulations training seminars. The training seminars covering recent changes, judicial decisions, and legislative actions regarding the Clean Water Act in reference to “waters of the U.S.” and their regulation. Cattails Environmental is certified by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission as a woman-owned, operated and managed business enterprise (Certification No. 58001190, NAICS Code 541620) and is recognized as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certified by two state DOTs - Arkansas & Missouri - through the Unified DBE Certification Program since 2019 (renewed/reviewed annually or biannually).
