CBDC Blue Water

CBDC Blue Water is one of 41 Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) serving Atlantic Canada. Being a CBDC, we promote economic development in rural areas by providing financial assistance, training and counselling to small businesses. CBDC Blue Water offers financing up to $150,000, and we also deliver specific programs targeted at young entrepreneurs, start-up businesses, student entrepreneurs, female entrepreneurs and businesses implementing new technology in their business or bringing a new technology to market. We cover the rural areas between Ecum Secum and Hubbards, including communities such as Tantallon, Timberlea, Lower Sackville, Beaverbank, Eastern Passage, East & North Preston, Porters Lake, Sheet Harbour, and Middle Musquodoboit, but excluding the metro areas of Halifax, Bedford, and Dartmouth.
