The Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes (CBHCC) is a federal-provincial-territorial committee responsible for the development of Canada's National Model Codes. New editions of the National Model Codes are published approximately every five years for provinces and territories to consider adopting. The Codes focus on health, safety, accessibility, the protection of buildings from fire or structural damage, and the protection of the environment.
