Brazilian Center for Climate Justice

The Brazilian Center for Climate Justice (CBJC) is a national civil society organization dedicated to the Black population themes in Brazil's climate agenda. Our mission is to expand the public debate and influence public policies on climate justice and racial equity at the local, regional, and national levels. The climate emergency is a crisis that confronts structural inequalities. Racism is a system of oppression in its political and social dimensions. Therefore, discussing climate justice is, above all, confronting environmental racism.
