Public actors are important in green transitions. But exactly how public actors mobilize resources and develop their own organizational (cap)abilities for green transitions is a question worthy of investigation.
CAPACITOR is a CBS research project that takes a deep dive into transformative capacities of public actors for accelerating green transitions.
Our insights into public actors’ capacities are informed by 250 interviews and +24 cases related to the energy and maritime sectors in the Nordics and Europe.
Our aim is to unfold core capacities of public actors to accelerate the green transition – what are their specific capacities and how do they interplay in real-life interventions?
As a final step, Capacitor will co-develop a capacity-building framework with public actors on transformative capacity––both at individual, organizational and sector level.
We engage in dialogue with public actors in the energy and maritime sectors, NGO’s, private actors, civil society and other research organizations.
