The Quebec City Student Chapter of the Canadian Biomaterials Society (CBS-QCSC) aims to develop activities in the biomaterials field in the geographic area of Quebec City and surroundings.
The mission of the organization is to support and enhance student research and interest in the biomaterials field, and assist with meeting the objectives of the Canadian Biomaterials Society, as they relate to student research and education. This organization is not-for-profit and all activities are on a voluntary basis.
Objectives are based on:
– Communication: Maintaining and encouraging multidisciplinary communication and collaboration among students working in the biomaterials field in Quebec City area.
– Professionalization: Organizing monthly professional and social events, developing the networking between industry, academics and clinical staffs.
– Support: Supporting the Canadian Biomaterials Society, connecting with other student chapters in Canada and worldwide.
