Columbia Business School Quantitative Markets and Trading Club (CBS QMT)

The mission of the Quantitative Markets and Trading Club is to support Columbia students who are interested in exploring or pursuing a career related to financial markets and trading. The club aims to provide the resources to promote the development of relevant skill sets and support students to successfully recruit in the industry (both technical and non-technical roles). Specifically, the club aims to support students in exploring Front Office and Back Office + Operational roles related to Trading/Markets including Sales & Trading, Quantitative Trading/Research, Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Sales/Client - Facing Roles, Compliance/Operations, Financial Consulting, Data Science, and Product. The type of companies we cover include (but are not limited to) Big Banks, Asset Managers, Trading Firms (HFT + Quant-Savvy Hedge Funds), and Exchanges (both TradFi and Crypto) across all product groups such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, Derivatives, and Crypto.
