Senior cohousing or "jubilar" is an alternative model to the current nursing homes and senior coliving centres in Spain.
At Entrecantos we seek to age actively and autonomously in each of the 35 apartments owned by the "Centro de Convivencia Cooperativo, Soc. Coop. Mad." They are located northwest of Phase 1 of Tres Cantos, within a consolidated urban environment and very close to Madrid. The Cooperative assigns their use to its members exclusively and for life to constitute the neighborhood and share common expenses: reception, administration, maintenance, dining room, cleaning, laundry, gym, library, classrooms, activities, care, etc.
We organize ourselves to be able to intervene and participate in decisions that affect the community, whether those related to the accessible building equipped with large common areas or to manage our coliving and the development of social relationships and support tailored to our needs.
