Canadian Critical Care Trials Group

The Canadian Critical Care Trials Group (CCCTG) was created to improve the care of critically ill patients through investigator-initiated research, and to provide a forum for research education and knowledge translation. Today, the CCCTG is a pan-Canadian partnership of more than 300 multi-disciplinary, inter-professional researchers. We support more than 150 critical care research programs studying acute interventions, rehabilitation, long-term follow-up, public health and outpatient care related to critical illness. The CCCTG has mentored and served as a model for Canadian and international research networks around the world. Our work together has led to practice changes, and lives and healthcare dollars saved.
