China Civil Engineering Fuzhou Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. was established in January 1959. It was successively affiliated with Nanchang Railway Bureau, Shanghai Railway Bureau, and China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. In October 2009, it was transferred to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC). China Civil Engineering is one of the first four foreign economic companies to enter the international market during China's early reform and opening-up period and is a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), ranked 43rd in the 2023 Fortune Global 500.
CCECC-FSDI's business scope includes engineering surveying, design, and consulting (railway projects, construction projects, rail transit projects, highways and municipal engineering), engineering design management, engineering supervision, general contracting, and engineering surveying. The company has established branches in Beijing, Nanchang, the UAE, Algeria, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Colombia, Tanzania, and other countries and regions. Its business operations span over 60 countries and regions across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania.
