Cuidado Casero Foundation envisions a community that recognizes the importance of educational accomplishment while assuring positive outcomes are accessible regardless of anyone’s economic circumstances. Our wish is to provide the assistance, opportunity and hope to individuals of our community who meet the requirements, have the ability and desire to go to college for a degree in nursing, who would not have the financial means to fulfill their goals. Through scholarships, mentoring, educational workshops, and career guidance, Cuidado Casero Foundation will support the mission to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce to advance the healthcare of our nation and the communities we serve. Empowering Hispanic students to become the leaders who will advance the healthcare of our nation and the communities we serve. The Cuidado Casero Foundation promises to build the community by: Promoting and providing financial support for Hispanic individuals wanting to acquire a nursing degree, providing different levels of scholarship in the nursing field. Mentorship and Educational Programs to influence Spanish/English speaking high school students to pursue a degree in nursing-assist in closing the gap of our community needs for Spanish speaking nurses.
