The lead Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP), and one of the Directors of CCIC Environmental, Lelani Claassen, has over 15 years' experience in the environmental consulting field. She has worked in the mining industry with various commodities (coal, rare earths, gold, and many more), the renewable energy space (solar and wind farms, green hydrogen) and the petrochemical industry (service stations, depots etc.). Her Project experience ranges from concept, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, applications for authorisation and compliance monitoring and auditing. She is also Pr. Sci. Nat. Registered with SACNASP (Environmental Science).
By considering environmental aspects of potential development sites early in the mineral exploration phase of Projects, risk is reduced from the start of project evaluation, resulting in improved efficiency and reduced project uncertainty.
