Crawford County Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Denison, Iowa. Opened to the public in 1951, CCMH has undergone many transformations during the last 70 years. The biggest transformation to date was the construction of a beautiful, state-of-the-art replacement facility located at 100 Medical Parkway in Denison. The CCMH replacement facility opened to the public in June 2011.
CCMH offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services.
CCMH Medical Clinic is a provider-based rural health clinic, featuring three family practice physicians and five advanced family medicine practitioners, as well as in-house specialists in General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics. CCMH directs the Crawford County EMS and Ambulance Services and employs full-time emergency room physicians. CCMH is certified as a Level IV Trauma Center in Iowa. CCMH also offers 24-hour anesthesia services.
A robust outpatient services area offers an array of clinics from visiting specialists including cardiology, endocrinology, podiatry, urology, and much more.
Along with a 64-slice CT Scan, MRI, and 3D Mammography, CCMH has state-of-the-art imaging facilities and staff. The fully equipped lab provides quick diagnostic services in-house. A wide range of rehabilitation therapy services are available at CCMH with ultramodern equipment and well-trained therapists.
Currently, CCMH is undergoing a major remodel of its Rural Health Clinic and Physical Therapy spaces. This renovation is designed to enhance patient experience and expand capacity, with completion on schedule for 2027.
