Clinicians for Climate and Planetary Health Education (CCPHE) is a grassroots, youth-led initiative dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals and students to become informed advocates for climate and planetary health. Rooted in the understanding that climate change is a growing public health emergency, CCPHE aims to transform health education by integrating climate science, sustainability, and environmental justice into clinical training and community practice.
We believe that clinicians have a powerful voice in influencing health systems, shaping public policy, and driving community resilience. Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, we work to build capacity among current and future health workers to respond effectively to the health impacts of climate change—especially in vulnerable and underserved populations.
