The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO) is the Chief Law Enforcement Agency in Cumberland County. It reviews, investigates and prosecutes all of the indictable crimes and oversees local police departments throughout Cumberland County, NJ. If this page contains a post that involves the charging, accusation or indictment of a criminal defendant, same is merely an accusation. The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The CCPO has an ethical obligation not to create or incite public condemnation of criminal defendants.
