The Centre for Climate Resilience (CCR) was founded in December 2020 as a central institution of the University of Augsburg with the aim of coordinating and bundling all forces and activities of the university related to the research focus on climate resilience across all faculties. Specifically, the center aims to develop holistic and implementable strategies for adapting to the inevitable consequences of climate change, at the regional, national, and international levels. Central building blocks for the implementation of this goal are, on the one hand, the promotion of interdisciplinary exchange and, on the other hand, the transfer of scientific knowledge in dialogue with politics and society.
