Serving South Jersey since 1953 Visit Camden County Toastmasters and see how our community club can help you enhance your self-confidence and build the speaking and leadership skills needed to achieve your goals. At our meeting, you will see how our warm, supportive atmosphere and self-directed programs enable our members to achieve their communications and leadership goals. You will also see how our collaborative approach and progressive programs enable our members to reach a level of excellence in speaking skills that is far beyond what is typically achieved in multi-thousand dollar seminars and courses (by comparison, Camden County Toastmasters dues are less than the cost of buying a latte before every meeting). Our club's commitment to growing our members' communications and leadership skills is demonstrated by the special Speech and Leadership Educational Events we often hold at the end of our regular meetings. This focus has resulted in our club winning numerous awards over its 60 years, including President's Distinguished Club, the highest honor a club can achieve. Our community of members (typically numbering 35 to 45) runs the gamut from college-age to active seniors and comes from many diverse walks of life and ethnicities. Our members come from Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties in South Jersey and from Philadelphia. We work in a wide range of occupations, including construction, education, law, medicine, sales, information technology, homemaking, financial services, insurance, real estate and many others. We welcome new members at all levels of communications and leadership experience, as a large part of our success is due to our ability to offer our members feedback from other members at all levels of experience.
